Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about OneSafe Pass

Is OneSafe Pass really free?

Yes! OneSafe Pass is completely free to use. Since your data is stored in your own Google Drive, there are no server costs for us to pass on to you. The only costs you might incur are Google Drive storage fees if you exceed their free tier (15GB), but most users stay well within this limit.

What happens if I forget my master password?

Unfortunately, your data cannot be recovered if you forget your master password. This is by design - it's what makes OneSafe Pass truly zero-knowledge and secure. We recommend storing your master password in a safe place or using a memorable passphrase.

How is this different from other password managers?

Most password managers store your encrypted data on their servers. OneSafe Pass stores your data in YOUR Google Drive. This means you have complete control and ownership. Additionally, our zero-knowledge architecture means we literally cannot access your data, even if we wanted to.

Can you see my passwords?

No! Your master password never leaves your device, and all encryption happens locally in your browser. Even we cannot decrypt your data. This is called zero-knowledge architecture - we have zero knowledge of your passwords.

Which browsers are supported?

OneSafe Pass works on all modern browsers including Chrome 90+, Firefox 88+, Safari 14+, and Edge 90+. It also works on mobile browsers like iOS Safari and Chrome Mobile.

How much Google Drive space does it use?

Very little! Text data like passwords is extremely small. A vault with hundreds of passwords typically uses less than 1MB. Even with attachments (5MB max per file), most users stay well within Google Drive's 15GB free tier.

Can I import passwords from other password managers?

Yes! OneSafe Pass supports importing passwords from Chrome, Safari, 1Password, LastPass, and Bitwarden. Simply export your passwords from your current manager and import them into OneSafe Pass.

Is my data encrypted on Google Drive?

Absolutely! Your data is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before it ever leaves your device. Google Drive only receives encrypted data that only you can decrypt with your master password. Not even Google can read your passwords.
